About the Role
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations in collaboration with the Executive Chef
- Manage and mentor line cooks and prep staff, leading by example
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and timing during service
- Coordinate prep and execution for a busy, fast-paced kitchen
- Monitor and manage food waste and inventory
- Ensure a safe, clean, and inspiring kitchen environment
- Support a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous learning
- Prior experience in a Sous Chef or kitchen leadership role
- Strong background in high-volume cooking
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passion for developing young culinary talent
- Dedication to food safety and ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (required)
- A calm, positive presence under pressure and a team-first attitude
