We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and versatile HR/Accounting Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you can develop your skills in both human resources and accounting.  The hours for this position are flexible and depend upon experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Support
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork and exit interviews.
  • Help track and manage employee benefits, time-off requests, and attendance.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and standards for a growing company.
Accounting Support
  • Assist with processing invoices, expenses, and vendor payments.
  • Help manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconcile accounts and support month-end close processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
  • Vendor onboarding and management.
  • Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation for audits.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; associate’s degree in business, accounting, HR, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR, accounting, or administrative support (or a combination of both).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Suite and spreadsheet formulas required. Prior use of Restaurant365 and ADP Workforce Now a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality and professional ethics.

Compensation: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
